1. Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

Scholar Metric, its design, layout, text, graphics, images, videos, audio, logos, software, code, and all other content not submitted by users (collectively referred to as "Platform Content") are owned by ShordalLabs ("we," "us," or "our") and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. All rights to the Platform Content are expressly reserved.

2. Copyright Protection

The Platform Content is subject to copyright protection under the applicable copyright laws of the United States and international treaties. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, publish, display, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit the Platform Content, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent.

3. User Content Ownership

Users retain ownership of their original content submitted to the Platform ("User Content"), including articles, comments, documents, and other materials. However, by submitting User Content, you grant us a license as described in our Terms and Conditions.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

4. Permitted Uses

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Copyright Notice and our Terms and Conditions, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and view the Platform Content for personal, non-commercial use.

You may:

  • View and browse Platform Content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Download or print individual pages for personal reference, provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices.
  • Share links to Platform pages through legitimate means.

5. Unauthorized Use

Any use of the Platform Content not expressly permitted by this Copyright Notice is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use may include but is not limited to:

  • Reproducing, duplicating, copying, or downloading Platform Content for commercial purposes.
  • Modifying, adapting, translating, or creating derivative works.
  • Distributing, publishing, or publicly displaying Platform Content.
  • Removing, altering, or obscuring copyright or proprietary notices.
  • Using automated tools to scrape, extract, or collect content.
  • Framing or mirroring Platform pages without permission.

Unauthorized use may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws and may result in civil or criminal penalties.

6. Trademarks

"AiScientificStudies," "ShordalLabs," and all related logos, product names, service names, slogans, and designs are trademarks or service marks of ShordalLabs. All other trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos appearing on the Platform are the property of their respective owners. You may not use any trademarks without the prior written consent of the respective trademark owner.

7. Copyright Infringement Claims (DMCA)

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our designated agent with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the Platform.
  • Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

8. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification containing: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the removed material and its prior location; (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; (4) your contact information; and (5) consent to jurisdiction of federal court in your district and acceptance of service of process from the complaining party.

9. Repeat Infringers

We may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights in appropriate circumstances.

10. Changes to This Copyright Notice

We reserve the right to update or modify this Copyright Notice at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
